What is a copyright?
A copyright is a protection granted
to photographers of their work by the U.S. Constitution and the Copyright Act
of 1976. The law protects photographers from the unauthorized duplication of
their pictures by imposing damages and /or criminal penalties on those who
violate the photographer’s copyright.
That means if a Customer (even if
it’s your likeness) makes an unauthorized print or downloads an image both the
Customer and the Lab or web site could be liable for copyright infringement!
